Branding the new organizattion
Incorporated in 2001 as the Newark Workforce Investment Board, the organization decided that after 15 years, a rebranding was necessary. We worked with Femworks LLC in Newark, New Jersey to create a new brand, complementary collateral, and a NationBuilder website.
In our discovery meeting, the client asked us to retain the use of the Newark skyline in the new logo but to present it in a more professional and creative way. The audience served by the NWDB is rather diverse and it was important that this be incorporated into the new logo.
To complement the new brand, we designed collateral in an editable format for the client to adapt in the future. We designed a new business card, envelope, letterhead, tri-fold brochure, issue sheet, PowerPoint template, wayfinding signage, and promotional materials for the official relaunch event.
